Paw In Hand Match is committed to improving the communities we live and work in by helping to improve the quality of life for both people and their pets. To that end we have created these community outreach programs:
The Needy Paws program works to help place companion dogs for those in wheelchairs. We will be identifying candidates for, and matching the right dogs with those members of our community who are confined to a wheelchair. The person heading up this program is himself in a wheelchair and has a wonderful Golden Retriever donated to him by Paw In Hand Match. All adoption fees are waived in the Needy Paws pet adoption program.
Resident Dog is a program specifically for retirement, eldercare and assisted living homes. We will be searching for just the right canines that will blend well in those environments. All pet placements through the Resident Dog program are without charge.
If you would like to make your donation specific to either the Needy Paws or Resident Dog programs please make a note in the comment portion of the dontation form. You can access the donation form by clicking on the "PLEASE DONATE NOW" button below.
